Gorgeous heavy weight Antique French Hand Woven Linen Grain Sack, of the most delicious oatmeal color, with a triple blue stripe. Rare to find an old old collectable sack like this in this wonderful color and condition, with hand sewn seams and hems and patches. The natural oatmeal color and nubby texture is of the most wonderful homespun linen - soft, densely woven and heavy. What you will love most about this one is the careful mends done over the last century, pls. only purchase this if you adore that. This was made in the late 1800's.

It is gorgeous as a large decorative pillow on your sofa or bed. This sack has wonderful patches, hand mends, and a few small stains as shown, it was used for decades to harvest grain, olives and other field crops. Just about perfect for your French Country home!
