French 19th Century Hat Block Stand, a shop display from France. This milliner’s wooden hat block or stand was used for making hats long ago. It comes with its own original stand.
Wonderful dark patina, this hand made three piece hat form was used in Lyon in a milliner’s shop. The wooden milliner’s hat form fits over the stand for display. There is aging, and little pin pricks where the hat maker would have fitted the hat to the form, giving this history and stories. A unique sculptural accent for your tabletop or shelf display.
