Exceptional Art Deco Silver Overlaid Cobalt Blue And Clear Glass Centerpiece with classic elegance. The stunning rich blue cobalt sets off the sterling silver overlay just beautifully! The bowl is rimmed with sterling silver bands, but the most remarkable silver application is the artistic representation of floral urns holding dimensional enameled flowers in color on two sides of the curved rim.
A wonderfully made bowl, representing amazing craftsmanship. Perfect to display in the center of your table, or buffet – it looks lovely with or without anything inside. There are some scratches to the glass bottom rim where the bowl touches the table surface, as would be expected. One or two ‘straw marks’ where the hot glass was placed on straw in the workshop to cool down after the artist worked on it. Marked sterling on the edge.
