Gorgeous Antique Old Paris Porcelain Cachepot made by L. Rihouet. Louis Rihouet began his porcelain business in 1818 in Paris, with hand enameled porcelains in the manner of Sevres. Rihouet received the title of Fournisseur du Roi Supplier to the King, his patrons were King Louis XVIII and Louis-Philippe. His hard paste porcelains, now called Vieux Paris Old Paris, are valuable and avidly collected.

This has the bottle cooler shape. Stunning morning glory flowers in pink, and yellow roses encircle the cachepot. The handles are in the shape of rams, with gilded detailing. In such wonderful condition, there is wear, as one would expect, on the top gilding. Signed on the bottom, Rihouet, Paris.
