Beautiful Antique Hand Painted Limoges Chocolate Pot with Roses, made by Haviland et Cie between 1876 – 1889 to add to your collection of antique French porcelain, or to begin a collection with. This pot has a lovely elegant shape, lots of rococo detailing, gilt, and wonderfully hand painted pink roses on a white background. It has everything! Amazingly painted entirely by hand, signed {faintly} on the bottom by the artist, with all the scrolls and delightful feminine details we adore.
The gorgeous pot has a delicious light apple green on the bottom, and rose vines that dance around the pot. Delicate vines with leaves at the very top add even more stunning interest. There is some wear to the gold on the handle, and most noticably to the finial on the lid. This pot was used and loved by a family for generations….it’s ready to make new memories with yours for another century, at least. A lovely pot, with divine colors and painted flowers.
