Beautiful Antique Madonna & Christ Child Silk Prints , a pair. I couldn’t resist these, each cardboard mat highlights a beautiful print, screened on a silken fabric. The fabric prints are slightly padded, the mats have an easel on the back for standing.
One is the Virgin Mary with the Christ child blessing someone, the other print is of the Christ child with the Holy Spirit above. The mats are discolored and one has a water stain, this did not keep me from loving these two. No doubt cherished by someone who is devoted, keep them as is, or perhaps frame them.
