Antique Hotel Soap Dish and French Soap, these are friends ‘across the pond’ as the English say. Made specifically for a hotel in the early 1900’s, the oval soap dish was made by W H Grindley & Co. between 1914-1925, in Stoke-on-Trent Staffordshire, England. This oval soap dish has a gilt and black striped detail all the way around. Marked on the back.
I’ve married it to the most delightful Marseilles cube soap made in the south of France. The scent is inspired by sunny Provence fields of sunflowers and citrus trees. Proudly made in France with 72% vegetable oil that is enriched with shea butter. The soap weighs 3.5 oz {100 g.} Certified by the French government to be paraben free, not tested on animals, and made in traditional Marseille ways. Not tested on animals. Just a pure delight! Recommended by dermatologists because of its ultra-moisturizing properties and purity.
