Antique French Country Style Butter Paddle used long ago to work the moisture out of the butter before packing the butter into stoneware crocks for storage. From a farm, hand carved from a single piece of wood, shows wear and the grace and patina of time and use.
This early paddle has a history, is a little quirky, and will make your kitchen happy. Beautiful to display together with your other culinary antiques, wooden spoons in an ironstone pitcher next to your stove. A special nod to dairy farmers from long ago. Julia would approve!
