Exceptional Hand Painted Oyster Plate from the 19th century, with decorative marine motifs and a stunning lemon in the center condiment well. Each individual oyster bed is a soft pastel color of aqua blue green, palest pink or apricot peach. The molded plate is accented with coral and sea weed, and hand applied gilt encircles the center well and outer rim.
Finely painted, the lemon is embellished with white enamel for an extra touch of luxury. Of the highest quality, this server is pristine white porcelain, it has an impressed mark of 41 on the bottom. Heirloom quality, this is a fine addition to your collection, to display with joy & pride.
