Stunning and masterfully carved, this antique Christ Child is very special. Beautifully hand painted in glowing colors, this 18th century relic was most likely part of a large display with the Holy Mother in a larger church.
Over the centuries he has acquired many losses, as shown. He is missing part of his eyelid, one arm, and both of his feet. Yet, he is beautiful and there is something sacred about him. He comes with a metal stand that he is simply attached to with a very thin wire. An exceptional addition to your home, he exudes a quiet and loving presence, and is sure to bless your home and all who enter it.
