Beautiful Antique 19th Century French Hand Painted Tole Tray with Harbor Scene. This octagon shaped tray is rare to find, and is such a stunning color, an antique aged light green. So well painted, the center depicts a detailed harbor scene in the manner of Claude Joseph Vernet.
Truly a gorgeous addition to your collection, the perimeter of the tray is painted with gilded grapes and vines. There is wear and patina as one would expect of a tray dating to the mid 1800’s, it has aged beautifully! Please see the detailed photos.
