Beautiful Antique English Ironstone Bowl , made by Johnson Bros. of Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England in 1883. Such a great size, the smaller bowls are more rare to find, they were used more often and thus were broken much more frequently than their bigger family members.
There is patina, this bowl is, after all, more than 100 years old, inside you can see the cone marks from the kiln when it was fired, and there is aging in the very bottom. Just what we love.
