19th Century Floribel Polychrome Ironstone Serving Plate

Brought to France in the late 1800’s from England by a French family, these serving plates have been used for generations for Sunday dinners.  Beautiful, and quite rare to find, these larger polychrome plates are a treasure! The Floribel pattern was designed by the famous William A Adderley factory in Stoke on Trent, in 1876. If you are looking for unusual, exceptionally visually pleasing plates, these are them.

Beautifully decorated with floral motifs, butterflies and insects, each plate was transfer printed then hand colored, perfection. Please only purchase if you adore antiques with the grace of time.  Use these to serve bread, desserts, or even an array of vegetables at the table, Very limited quantities.
