Summery Grapefruit Gin Fizz Cocktail

Stir up something new for your next summer cocktail hour by creating this Summery Grapefruit Gin Fizz Cocktail. It's an easy and fresh, delicious twist on a classic gin fizz. Made with gin, grapefruit juice and one of our luxe grapefruit sugar cubes, it's super easy and perfect for summer. Using grapefruit juice instead of lemon juice, this cocktail has a gorgeous pinky coral color, and a subtle sweet citrus flavor. Delicious, and so easy, ready in less than 5 minutes! To make these really pretty, add a slice of grapefruit and a sprig of rosemary to create a beautiful, delicious and easy drink to sip any time. Not just for summer either, these are perfect any time of year!

Summery Grapefruit Gin Fizz Cocktail.

Ingredients: 2 oz. gin 2 oz. grapefruit juice 2 oz. sparkling water or club soda 1 or 2 Luxe Grapefruit sugar cubes Directions: 1. Pour the gin and the grapefruit juice in a large glass, mix. {or put it in a cocktail shaker if you want to get fancy!} 2. Add the luxe sugar cube to a glass, pour the gin and juice mixture over this. 3. Fill the rest of the cocktail glass with sparkling or tonic water. Wait. 4. If you want a sweet cocktail, use a stir stick to break up the luxe sugar cube a little and mix. 5. Add ice. 6. Add garnish of small slice of grapefruit and/or rosemary sprig.

BARTENDER TIPS:

1. This cocktail can be made in multiples...just adjust accordingly. 2. It does taste best fresh, so don't make it ahead of time! 3. This recipe uses a 1:1 ratio, but you can change it up! Use a 1:2 or 1:3 ratio of alcohol to juice for a lighter, summery drink. {or lightweight friends like me!} 4. We like it on ice, but you don't have to serve over ice if you prefer it less watered down. PS. If you don't drink alcohol, we love these in our sweet tea too, for a refreshing hint of grapefruit!
