Wow your guests by serving this stylish cocktail that literally exemplifies the season.
This is the perfect bubbly drink to refresh your guests.
Or just for the two of you on a beautiful summer evening.
And...it couldn't be easier to make!
Inspired by the blackberries that grow on my family's European forest land
this is refreshing, fruity, sweet and stylish!
{we'll be having these in the garden during the hot summer months at FrenchGardenHouse.}
{Since we're unloading a shipment today, I photo edited the glass and the blackberries in-sorry!}
FRENCHGARDENHOUSE SUMMER BLACKBERRY COCKTAIL
1.Simmer equal parts water, sugar and blackberries in a saucepan to form a syrup.
2. Once it has thickened {don't burn!} drain the blackberries so you have only sweet syrup remaining.
3. Pour a little of the blackberry syrup into a glass.
4. Fill the glass with your favorite champagne, or prosecco.
5. Add a blackberry or two, a sprig of mint or thyme.
Et voilà, a French Summer Cocktail that is as delicious as it's easy to make.
These cocktails truly are the perfect light and refreshing drink for summer.

Kari, it’s really delicious! When I’m not watching the calories {!} I add in more syrup for a sweeter drink…and honestly, the syrup is so delicious that adding seltzer water instead of champagne is {almost} just as good!
