Welcome to Monday Morning Blooms! Today Mary, Pam and I are excited to welcome two guests, our friends Sarah of Hyacinths for the Soul, and Janet of Rosemary & Thyme. You won't want to miss these two talented women, they always inspire!
Sharing Easter or any other Spring meal with your family and friends is always more special around a table you have set with love. This year, I'm setting this charming Easter table for our friends and family to gather around. This setting works so beautifully for any Spring event, whether you host a breakfast, brunch, luncheon, tea or dinner! The soft colors make it a show stopper every time.
Before we get started, I have a winner for the beautiful Victoria book The Art of Beautiful Tables! Chosen randomly, my winner is Linda H.! Congratulations, Linda. I know you will LOVE this gorgeous book!
Charming Easter or Spring Table
Here is our Charming Easter or Spring Table, it works for every time and anytime this Spring! We have had so much rain here at FrenchGardenHouse that every single leaf, blade of grass and flower is bright, bright and bright! And on this {finally!} sunny day, I set the first table outside in the garden. {I wish a blog could have sound! The birds were singing so sweetly, they are just as excited to see the sun as we are!}
It is so delightful to see the sun on my table, even though there were clouds moving in and out, as you can see by the varying degrees of "bright" in the photos of the table.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
Spring Flowers:
For the focal point of this table, I got an antique French enamelware coffee pot, and prepared it for the flowers. Because these pots are mostly collected for display only and they often don't hold water, I inserted a glass to fill with water. The clear florist's tape really helps support larger arrangements. Simply criss cross the top of the container. I like to encircle the top of the pot with another strip of tape to hold the ends of the 'criss-cross' parts secure.
I picked up stunning golden apricot pink Roses, pink orange Parrot Tulips, Sweetie Pie mini Carnations, white Alstroemeria, and a little bundle of eucalyptus. They seemed a perfect complement for the new Charming tablecloths from the shop!
Since these antique pots sometimes have a bit of rusting on the bottom, I set the arrangement on an antique white ironstone platter to protect this happy and stunning tablecloth.
This stunning floral tablecloth has all the spring colors and flowers we adore on it! Pink tulips, yellow daffodils, large pink wild roses, little marguerites. Isn't it gorgeous? The color is a soft buttery creamy yellow, and the design has a vintage feeling.
These new glittery bee napkin rings are happily buzzing with joy to hold each napkin in a beautiful fold.
Each place setting features a scalloped white plate, French silverware, and a pressed glass goblet for ice tea or maybe a glass of white wine.
Each guest has a spring place card, which I tied around a little bag of the most adorable guest soaps for each of our friends to take home.
What would a spring or Easter table be without a sprinkling of a few bunnies dressed in their finest Spring flowers? Our little French Country rabbits are each dressed in ribbons, and their own floral corsage for the season. Each one has its own personality, {There are a few left in the gift collection.}

He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. 1 Peter 2:24
I hope this table set in our garden has brought you joy!

Oh Lidy, this is just gorgeous! The flowers, swoon! The tablecloth and napkins are so pretty and that bunny stole my heart! All in your beautiful garden setting with green grass and lovely blooms in the background, what a very special spot to linger, enjoy and give thanks. The vintage pitcher is really pretty and I need to remember your tape arranging trick. I am spending this week getting ready to host our family celebration on Easter Sunday and the Monday Morning Bloom gals have given me so many ideas and inspirations! Have a lovely week and a very happy Easter!
Lidy, your garden is beautiful and Mr. FGH has a lovely manicured lawn! Your garden is the perfect setting for an Easter or spring lunch or dinner. I love the “charming” tablecloth and napkins. Your gorgeous arrangement of tulips, roses, carnations, and alstromeria say that spring is here in all of its glory. The French enamelware coffee pot is the perfect vessel for the Easter bouquet. The French country rabbits dressed in pretty ribbons and corsages is a delightful addition to your lovely table and I also love the bee napkin rings.
It is always a treat to join you in your beautiful garden for flower therapy and Monday Morning Blooms. Wishing you a blessed Easter!
