Dreaming of holidays spent in an elegant Parisian apartment?
If you have never been there, but would love to someday. or if you have fond memories of the City of Lights, why not create your own bit of Parisian magic at home? I'm SO excited to have you join me today, because I'm bringing Paris Home for the Holidays!
WELCOME TO MONDAY MORNING BLOOMS.
This is a very special edition of Monday Morning Blooms.
Shirley, Pam, Mary and I are Celebrating the Holidays in Style, together with our dear friends from Crown Linen Designs and Arte Italica.
Not only are they joining us to celebrate this beautiful season, they are also giving away a fabulous prize worth more than $400.00 to one of our readers! {The give away is now CLOSED.}
Please be sure to read all the way to the end to see how you can enter for a chance {or more chances!} to win.
I first fell in love with Crown Linen Designs at market years ago. Not only was I immediately drawn to the beautiful quality and embroidery of the linens, once I met the people behind the brand, I fell in love even more! Since then, their linens have graced our tables for every days and holidays here at FrenchGardenHouse.
Now they have come together with Arte Italica, an amazing company with incredibly skilled artisans creating gorgeous table ware. A match made in heaven as both of them have attention to detail like no other. I know so many of you already love every delicious thing from both of them!
A few weeks ago these luscious velvet placemats, linen napkins and that glorious Vetro Scalloped Footed Bowl arrived from my friends at Crown Linen Designs and Arte Italica.
I immediately envisioned a swanky dinner or luncheon in a Parisian apartment during the holidays. That I've never been to one of those doesn't matter, a girl sometimes often has to make her own dreams happen.{!!}
I wish there was such a thing as touch screen where you could feel these round placemats, because they the softest, most sumptuous velvet. So beautiful, and then ruffles. Need I say more?
The Victorian linen napkins are stunning, embroidered with gold in a decorative design.
Right away I knew my flowers for this setting should be soft colors of white, cream, pink and green, with a little touch of gold.
I was so excited to find winter peonies, along with pink roses, white alstroemeria, little white berries, seeded eucalyptus and the sweetest kind of eucalyptus I've ever seen at my local market.
I set this table in front of the fireplace, near our white Christmas tree. The gold decorations highlight the beautiful gold Vetro Scalloped Footed Bowl, plates and glassware.
I cut the bottom corners off a block of wet florist's foam and placed it in the center of the bowl, and began arranging the greenery first, then added those romantic pink and white peonies, filling in with the alstroemeria and little white berries.
A sprinkling of eucalyptus branches down the center of the table adds a magical touch.
The Vetro dinner plates make the perfect chargers for the antique French old paris porcelain dinner plates. I love the romantic gold lace motif, it's a beautiful frame for the aqua blue scalloped antique plates.
Little gilded clip on birds in the flowers and golden bottle brush trees sprinkled on the table add fun.
Are you singing Christmas songs in French yet? I know I am! This year's holidays may be smaller than what we love or are used to, but we can make them as beautiful and joyful as possible.
Memories are made around the table with love. Even though most likely you will spend your holidays cozily ensconced in your own beautiful home, I hope it feels as special as if you were in Paris!

What a beautiful table! I love the flowers, all the crystal, china and especially the linens! Your postings make my day!
Bonjour Lidy!
What a lovely table setting- so elegant and artistic! I must tell you that the items from your shop arrived beautifully packaged and were a joy to receive! I am looking forward to the next arrival. I am now following you on FB and Instagram. I covet those Arte Italica wine goblets and the linen napkins are gorgeous!
This was such an inviting post! And Thank You for reminding me of your Instagram and Arte Italica Instagram!!! I LOVE Arte Italica and try to pick up a new piece each year. The first year I bought my mom the very large round platter and stand for display and last year I purchased the champagne chiller. Don’t know which is my favorite, or the small pieces to use daily…any of them I use and love to ‘visit’ each time to walk by them at home.
A fabulous table setting! I especially love the velvet placemats by Crown Linens
Your table is so elegant and lovely. I look forward to your Monday emails and follow you on Instagram. Just started following Crown Linen and Arte Italica as well .I love any linen with the Napoleon bee! I collect Arte pieces and would love a piece from the Natale collection.
Oh my! Ill est ne le divin ènfant! Thanks for taking me to Paris as I fear we’ll never get to travel again right now! ???. Beautiful! Trés Jolie! I’m a follower of all of you on the gram & FB. Love love linens and dishes & there’s no way to pick favs but any of the items featured in your post would make a lovely gift to ME for the holidays! Thank you!
What a perfect pastel setting – so soothing and inviting. The velvet placemats are scrumptious and the gold embellished water goblets are positively luxurious! The table setting is such an inspiration. I think I’ll be PINK this Christmas! Thanks for your ideas and elegance.
Lidy, I follow Crown Linen Designs & Arte Italica on Instagram. I’ve been following your blog and I follow you on Instagram. I like the Bumble Bee embroidered linen placemats and matching napkins from Crown Linen Designs. I also love the Giulietta dinnerware from Arte Italica. Thanks to you and the other ladies for giving us to opportunity to win such beautiful gifts!
Lidy, what a fantastic collaboration you organized! Of course I’ve followed you for years (from Romantic Homes days), and even purchased some of the napkins and a decor pillow through you. Your table setting is just beautiful and yes, yesterday while I decorating I was listening to Pandora’s French Cooking station (not exactly carols, but wonderful music nonetheless). While I am not in IG, I do follow you by email subscription and FB.
I also follow Crown LInen on FB, and have enjoyed shopping directly with them as well. I purchased a holiday pillow in that velvet and it is pure luxury! I do believe those velvet placemats may go high on my list of things I’d love to add to my tabletop collection.
I started following Arte Italica on FB, and the first thing I went to on their website were the chargers! Using the Vetro dinner plates as chargers is a smart way to show how one can easily swap their tables pieces in design.
Please toss my name in the hat for this terrific giveaway, and good luck to all who enter!
Lidy, your post could be described using every beautiful adjective I can think of. The Crown Linen placemats and napkins are luscious and gorgeous. Your antique china and crystal, and the Crown Linens and Arte Italica pieces plus your lovely flowers make me swoon.
