Welcome back to our {Chef Lisa of DeliciousTable and FrenchGardenHouse} AUTUMN ENTERTAINING SERIES. As promised, here is the first recipe from the gorgeous appetizer party we planned together for you to host!
This delightfully fresh Meyer Lemon Tapenade Appetizer is perfect to serve at parties and holidays. Best of all, it's so simple to make, you will be making and serving this all the time!
Lisa is such a talented chef, her recipes are easy to make, and absolutely delicious. It's an honor to work with her. Together we created this AUTUMN ENTERTAINING SERIES just for you, to take the stress and worry out of entertaining this season, and provide you with a few wonderful "go to" ideas for beautiful, easy entertaining.
I know you are going to be all set with the most amazing ideas for table settings and recipes for your best entertaining season ever!
More appetizer recipes are coming soon, the Brie & Bacon Palmiers {!!}, delicious Spiced Nuts, and a gorgeous autumn cocktail that is on the “healthy” side that might just be your favorite holiday cocktail choice this season.
Later this month, in preparation for Thanksgiving entertaining, we'll share our beautiful table setting and a recipe for the most delicious individual Apple Pies.
We have a little lemon tree in or front garden in a huge pot that actually produces lemons several times a year! I am always so excited to go out there and pick one for a recipe, or as a garnish for a meal.
Even if you don't have a garden, a few herbs in a pot, {and if you have the climate and space for it} a little fruit tree in a pot makes you feel like you have a petit potager, al la française.
One of the best things about all the appetizer recipes we're sharing with you is that they also make the most wonderful Hostess Gifts!! For all the autumn parties and dinners you go to. For your Thanksgiving host or hostess. Pack a jar in an antique French basket, together with a loaf of French bread, flowers, and a few bottles of wine and you will be everyone's favorite guest!
You can make a big batch, and serve the tapenade with crusty bread or crackers, or in little sweet peppers at your party.
And pack the rest in little containers such as these vintage French jars shown here, and gift away! How perfect is that?
This recipe is so fresh and delicious. Meyer lemons, green and kalamata olives, parsley, and capers are heavenly mixed together. It beats store bought tapenade every time!
This recipe is worth making at home. And you will make it again and again. I Promise.

Thank you Gloria! I think you can also use regular lemons. You won’t really need to add sugar.
It’s good either way!

I wish I could get Meyer lemons on the east coast. Since they are sweeter, should I add a half teaspoon of sugar to sweeten it? I’m sure it will be great with a regular lemon. Can’t wait for the palmier recipe. I am trying to talk my husband into putting up a shelve or two in my sunroom off the kitchen so I can buy some of the canisters and cutting boards. Love the kitchen settings.

This tapenade has a fresh taste from the lemons! Our little lemon tree is a fun addition to the front garden, it doesn’t produce a ton of fruit since its in a huge pot, but it is nice to pick our own!

I’ve bought tapenade, but of course, everything is better from scratch. Can’t wait to try this recipe.
How I envy you and your lemon tree!!

Ps. Ginger, can you let me know if you are on a tablet or? Sometimes it takes “refreshing” the page to have the pin it buttons appear. We tried it on a phone, iPad and Big Mac, and it’s working. But tech is so complicated these days, it could be that for some reason it’s on working on your browser. Le sigh. Love technology for its miracle, don’t love for its temperamental things. ?

Ginger, I’m so sorry, since we upgraded to “https” ( most secure) several things are wonky, the pin it button is obviously one of those. So sorry! Do you have bHome on your phone? (Link on right sidebar) that’s a really easy way to pin.
I’ll have to have the tech wonders look into this issue! Xo

That looks delicious! Can’t wait to try it. Tap as I might, I’m unable to pin it! But a screen shot will keep the recipe at hand. Look forward to drool worthy palmier recipe! Thanks Lidy ??

Happy Sunday! I hope you love this, we had it again yesterday at our family dinner and (almost) everyone loved it. (I have one child who doesn’t like olives). It’s so easy, keeps well in the refrigerator and makes a great gift.

We love anything lemon in this household and what an amazing tapenade and I love the ease of making this!
Gorgeous presentation as always!!
