Art Adds Everything.

One day, you find it! A special work of art that strikes a chord, deep in your very soul. It makes you smile when you see it, and has such a personal connection for you. That's the beauty of art, isn't it? It can transport you to another time or place. Art adds everything inspirational and beautiful to our world. Art can make your whole home shine. Art can inspire you, and tug at your heartstrings. Art, selected by you, has so much value. Not just monetary value, but personally, to YOU. Most of the art we have here at home at FrenchGardenHouse is not of huge monetary value. But it has value because we love it. Art pushes us to be more creative, to view the world from different perspectives. What kind of art makes you happy? There is so much out there as far as art. I love roses, so any 19th century Victorian oil paintings of roses are on the top of my list both for our FrenchGardenHouse clients and for ourselves. Another of my favorites are paintings from France, made mostly by "Sunday" painters, not professionals. They deserve a place to be the focus. They are charming, colorful, and often show a touch of French life. This one is such a beautiful painting, I love the little boat in the water. When you find that special work of art, it deserves to shine in a special place. Displaying a special painting by itself on its own wall allows the space around it to be the frame for the work of art. This allows the art, even if it's not huge, to be the highlight and focal point in the room. This is one of my favorite finds. It's a dog painted with such humor on a metal pie plate. Most likely done by another "Sunday Painter" I just can't help but love this fun art. Art in all forms is beautiful, and adds so much personality to your home.
