Antique Ironstone Syrup Pitcher with Pewter Lid, a rare to find design that is meant to emulate caning. I love this one! It has such a charming country shape, and the glaze is so glossy, this almost fooled me into believing it was French enamelware.
The all-over caning transfer design is wonderful, it continues all the way on the bottom as well. Perfection. Age, history, stories to share, what could be better?!
