Do you love a good book as much as I do?

Then I know you will l o v e my brilliant friend Kristy’s latest book!

I’m thrilled to be collaborating with Kristy Woodson Harvey

for this post and Give Away.

This is the third book in the Peachtree Bluff Series, and with every book,

I fall more in love with the charming Murphy women.

Being an only child, I admire the love these three sisters and their mother

have for one another.

Like all families, there are plenty of thick and thin times for this family.

Since I have no siblings, the relationship the sisters Emerson, Caroline and Sloane

have together fascinates me. They are each other’s best friends,

know each other’s secrets, and what buttons to push while arguing,

but are fierce in their protective love for each other.

Like the first two books, I couldn’t put this book down!

I really don’t want to give too much away, so here is just a little preview.

The setting is Peachtree Bluff {if you have read book #1 and #2 you will join me in wanting to live there!}
and Mom Ansley has the man of her dreams back in her life.

She should be happy, but she can’t help feel

like it’s all a little too good to be true.

Emerson, her youngest daughter who is an actress, who gets engaged

and also scores a prime new film role, feels the same way.

Everything is put into perspective when two women arrive in town

who could wreck Ansley’s joy and rip Emerson’s world apart.

Secrets….which were never meant to be told a r e   …..

testing this family of women’s devotion to each other.

Southern Author Kristy Woodson Harvey

Kristy is a genius at exploring each character’s true inner nature.

She shows you just WHO these women are, and like all of us,

these women weather the storms and celebrate the victories in their lives.

I read a lot, and sometimes it’s just plain disheartening how a story will wrap up in 5 pages and you are feeling disappointed.

Not this ending.

It’s so satisfying, and it left me feeling content

knowing that the Murphy women are living happily-ever-after

like I wanted them to all along.

Because isn’t that really what we want for women we love? Fictional or otherwise?

  1. I am so excited about this giveaway. I am a Southern girl to the bone and would love to win! I’m always on the lookout for a good read and this sounds divine. I am currently reading Whiskey in a Teacup by Reese Witherspoon (a fellow Southern girl). It’s not a novel, but sort of a memoir, cookbook, and story of growing up in the South. Thank you for the giveaway. Blessings! PS of course I already follow you on IG ?

  2. Sandee

What a nice giveaway!! These books sound wonderful! I too am an only child, and the funny thing is that I have 3 daughters very close in age — so I would love to read these and share with my daughters 🙂

  3. dianne anderson

You make these books into a must read for me. Being a Southerner by birth, I can’t wait to read them all. Thank you and Kristy for the generous giveaway. I follow you on IG!

  4. Teresa O

The series sounds like fun summer reading and I always appreciate a quick book review. I’m always looking for something new to read.

  5. Denise Carlson

I like the characters in the book am a sister of three. And if I won this great giveaway I would be thrilled to share them with my family. Thanks for the opportunity.

  6. Diane Trahan

I would love to win these books.
They sound like stories I would like.
I just finished a very old book Vanity Fair.

  7. Sherry Myers

Lidy, Each time I open my mail with a post from you makes me take a deep breath. It always soothes my soul to see all your beauties and admire your creativity. Your floral arrangements and table decor are especially a sight for the eyes. I always feel I am traveling to a more genteel time and enjoying gracious hospitality when I view everything. I’d so enjoy the books written by Kristy W. Harvey who happens to live in a beautiful seaside town not too far from my southern home. I’m excited for this opportunity and chance to win some enticing summer reads! Thank you.

  8. I live near the beach and am always teased that I only read educational books.
Perhaps that is because I have never read a great “cannot put the book down” story. I think these books
would change all that! Would be so proud to win this giveaway ?

  9. Sharon Crigger-Stokan

Thank you for introducing those of us who do not know Kristy’s work to her books and her lovely home! It is beautiful, I must admit I was most intrigued by the alligator (or is it crocodile) jaws on her coffee table! Now that would be quite the conversation piece! ?. I love to read so would so enjoy receiving her books, or making a trip to our local Barnes & Noble! I also really loved the quote at the end of your blog, Lidy – it is so true!

  10. Erin Remotigue

What a great giveaway…perfectly timed for beach reading season!

  11. Gloria Richards

This series sounds like it was made for lazy summer days, cold lemonade and a quiet spot to get away from it all and enjoy the journey of a good read. Great give-away.

  12. Gloria Pulliam
