Hydrangea Cake

I am busy today putting together some great summer table setting ideas for Cottages & Bungalows Magazine. My own Megan is in the kitchen baking up a storm {she is talented in baking in ways her mother, myself, is definitely not!}

Sort of as an inspiration break, I found a Amanda’s blog via via. LOVE! Have you ever seen a cake this beautiful? Inspired by a painting her grandmother painted, gotta love that, too.  It’s a piece of art. It speaks of SPRING!  Perfect for Easter.  If you want to make your own, she has a full tutorial here.  Most amazing to me, Amanda made this right before giving birth to a beautiful baby boy. A talented, has-lots-of-energy Mom!  Thanks so much, Amanda, for sharing your talent with all of us.

    1. Miss Janice, they are mine too! Our hydrangeas in the garden are just starting to bloom, can’t wait to see all of them again. Happy Spring!

  1. Hi Lidy,

    Wow, this cake is amazing. I can grow hydrangeas more successfully than I can bake! I’ll have to show this to my friend that is a master baker.
