Vintage Silver Plated Holder, made in the mid 1900's. At first I thought this must have been used to display menu's for a hotel dinner, but after much research, it's a tabletop cigarette holder patented by C S Beller in 1950.
Smoking was so fashionable then, this holder brought smoking to a new chic and elegance. When entertaining, unwrapped cigarettes were lined up inside the frame - ready to be lit and enjoyed. It's a wonderful addition to your collection of tobacco memorabilia. {or just be creative and use it as a menu holder!}
