A rare antique Art Deco dance compact from the early 1920's, designed with exquisite feminine detail and evening elegance. The front features finely chased engraving with a French guilloché blue shield and a hand-painted pink rose, set on a graceful form finished with a blue opaline bead.
Inside, a mirror on one side, and compartments for rouge and powder on the other—remarkably still retaining their original contents and puffs, an unusually intact survival.
