A beautifully detailed Large 18th century French Aubusson tapestry pillow, this piece exudes timeless elegance with its handwoven neoclassical design. The tapestry front features scrolling acanthus leaves and stylized floral motifs in a soft, tonal palette of ivory, cream, and pale taupe — a sophisticated choice for your home.

There is evidence confirming its age, with some loose threads, areas of general wear and re-weaving & restoration. The front has stitches to keep the antique textile firmly on its backing. Backed in velvet, and edged with an edge of tassel trim, the back has faded to lighter at the top over time, it must have been in the light. Please only adopt this one if you love the grace of time.
