The back has a gilt painted grouping of a winged tambourine, a flute and a bow. The soft, time-worn colors and gentle craquelure tell the story of a century lived with grace in a fine French home. Made in France in the 1800's, the square form stands on four charming tôle ball feet, with aged gilt borders framing each painted panel.
