Incredible Antique Sterling Silver and Etched Crystal Sugar Basket and Creamer, a Lady’s Set, such a lovely design, and so rare to find. Made by The Merrill Shops, of New York, NY, a small silver smith creating very high quality luxury silver, mostly custom items, from 1893 – 1931. This set is fine luxury quality, made so that the creamer fits on the top of the crystal sugar basket.
The heavy basket has a flowing foliage or perhaps floral design deeply etched all around, it is mounted in sterling and has a sterling handle. The sterling creamer sits on the top perfectly. Once meant for service for one, either in a luxury hotel or a stately home. A delight for your collection, and such a gracious way to serve tea or coffee. Sale priced.
