Wonderful pair of vintage gilt floral sconces, bought in France. Most likely Italian, these date to the 1940’s-1950’s. The wall sconces have tole painted lily flowers, with aged and darkened patina white – pink russet details. The two-light sconces with gold leaves have a sinuous shape.
Classics, these traditional Florentine Hollywood Regency style lights were hand made and finished. They’ve been cleaned but without removing the original natural patina, which gives them so much charm. They will need to be hard wired by your electrician.
