Large Pottery Doll Head Millinery Shop Display, this is a really big doll head, like the antique porcelain heads for cloth dolls, but she is made of pottery. Wearing an antique millinery floral garland, she was used as a shop display for millinery garlands. I fell in love with her pretty face and sweet eyes, and her perfectly ‘put up’ hairdo with its gold ‘clip’ on the back. I will admit I really don’t know anything about her – she just jumped in our shipment to see another part of the world!
She is in good condition for her age, she comes with the last floral crown she displayed in the store of cream and pastel flowers, some with velvet petals and centers. Her crown just rests on her head right now, you can always put two spots of glue to keep it permanently in place. A charming display for your own ‘mercerie’ and to display with your antique ribbons, millinery flowers and/or dolls.
