Large Blue and White Chinoiserie Strainer, beautiful and rare to find in size and condition. Substantial and rare early strainer with cobalt blue and white chinoiserie scene with a flowing river, several figures on a luxurious deck, a horse, all in a very lush landscape. Made in England in the early 1800’s, this is so rare to find!
This is a wonderful and decorative platter drain that would be placed on a large platter for the excess juices of the fish or meat to drain into the platter below at the table. This one is such a grand size. An absolute beauty for your collection of blue and white, to display with all your favorite Chinoiserie and Blue Willow pieces. In good antique condition, no chips or repairs.
