This delightful Early Antique Pearlware Child’s Tea Bowl & Saucer is such a find, it was produced in England during the late 18th century, early 19th century. It was made for a very fortunate child, it’s a miracle that it has survived in good condition. Transfer printed and hand enameled, the pearlware pair are decorated with a sweet scene of a little boy and his spotted dog.
A stunning set, with bright colors on the central scenes, surrounded by brown transfer garlands and flowers to the rims. In good condition considering its age, there are very tight hairlines on the saucer, and a little roughness to the rim of the cup. It will display beautifully with your collection at home.
- Measures:cup-3″ x 2″h; Saucer 4-3/8″.
