From an old chateau estate in Europe. The cup has a stunning original portrait of a lady, delicately and expertly painted by the most accomplished painters of the era. Completely hand decorated, the saucer features a hand applied gilt trim and center.
Collectors prize “Old Paris” or “Vieux Paris” porcelain. The incredible quality of this cup is indicative of the factories and artisans around Paris from the mid 1700’s to the end of the second empire. Unmarked { it is estimated that around 70% of production in this era had no identifying marks at all} this is an original work of art. A once-in-a-lifetime addition to your collection.
