Beautiful Antique Victorian Stag Horn Handle & Silver Plate Fish Server or Crumber, most likely from England, late 1800’s. The extra-plated silver crumber has a gorgeous engraved design of a fern leaf and wild flowers on the front. The naturally shed stag horn handle has a sterling ferrule, it is a sturdy fit.
A stunning addition to your entertaining table, these were used to wisk “crumbs” from the table by your butler long ago, today savvy hosts and hostesses use them to serve fish or even slices of large cake. Beautiful condition, there is a small separation to the handle, but the handle is very very sturdy. Slight wear to the bottom of the plating, as shown. A find!
