Fine quality American Sterling Silver Tea Strainer, made in the late 1800’s, early 1900’s by R Wallace & Sons, Connecticut. Hand applied decorative scroll work border around the perimeter makes this an elegant classic, luxury quality for your tea time! The deep bowl is lovely, the handle is ebonized dark wood, fully marked with the R Wallace & Sons name and STERLING.
A treasure to add to your tea table, or to gift to a host or hostess you love who has a silver or tea related collection. Patina from being used over 100 years, long ago the handle was professionally resoldered for extra sturdiness.
