Beautiful Antique Souvenir Ocean Postcard, from a private collection, unused. Postcards like these, with the charming ocean side scene of a pier, a grand beach front hotel, and two boats inside a large shell were printed for seaside resorts. This one has a beautiful chromolithographic print, and the luxurious gilt lettering “Souvenir” then from; each hotel resort could stamp their name in the empty spot.
Unused, in good condition for being over 100 years old, but not perfect. The corners have a little loss and there is a tiny spot on the top right. A fabulous addition to your collection if you adore the sea, display with your sea shells, your beach prints and books.
