Lacey filigree form two borders at the top and bottom. The central cartouche {could be monogrammed} is surrounded by delicate flowers surrounded with leaves.
Inside, a lovely old fitted blue silk interior, and the little leather baffled sides that allow it to expand to hold sewing necessities for a lady’s bag. This is a lovely and large example of a charming Palais Royal souvenir of early 1800s for your collection! The case is elegant, pristine for its age and, and is fine in its value and appeal.
