Beautiful Antique Majolica Bowl with Three Leaves in the center. This bowl has such wonderful colors! Glorious aqua-green on the border, which is filled with leaves, little flowers and a winding vine. The center is a French gold with a group of three green and pink leaves and small berries. Divine. This bowl makes it easy to see why everyone still falls in love with majolica.
This is a heavy piece, and quite old, the back has a hand sponged mottled finish, it is not marked as many of the early pieces were not. There are a few tiny chips on the underneath of the rim. A fabulous larger piece to add to your personal collection.
