Rare Pair of Antique Maison de Maitre gilt wood hand carved roses curtain tie backs or curtain holders, beautiful. Fine carving of rose floral swags done by master carvers, the wood curves around the inner metal brackets, the florals are carved from a solid piece of wood. Each flower, petal, and leaf is perfectly carved, so elegant.
Beautifully decorative as well as functional, these are sure to make your French curtains swoon! Gilt has mellowed to antique gold patina, age appropriate condition, wear to the brackets shown. Sold as a pair, we have two pairs, from a “minor landowner’s” estate.
