Unusual and refined Antique Glass Hand Vase with Bulrush Design. This heavy glass vase has a lady’s hand holding up a gathering of leaves and bulrushes. Her sleeve has a wonderful scalloped detail.
Much in favor in the 19th century, vases like this are perfect to showcase your best garden roses. Pressed glass design has a mat glass hand and sleeve, and crystal clear vase portion. Straw-marks and little bubbles such as you want to see in early glass, and a few minor nicks on the underside after more than 100 years of flower duty.
