Extremely rare to find Antique French Oval Tole Tray with Girl and her Dog. Beautifully hand painted with a central scene of a well-dressed young lady and her best friend. The surrounding rose swags, quiver and arrows and border with stylized bees make this especially desirable.
Aged saffron yellow background, the tray features a painted gallery edge with cut out handles in moss green. Wear and aging as shown. A fabulous addition to your collection of truly spectacular tole peinte trays. Trays of this age are almost impossible to find, especially with the central figural scene intact.
