Antique French Hand Painted Old Paris Deep Plates with beautiful Delphinium flowers. Even though the rest is gone, the family kept these as a rememberance of the lovely set from their grandmama’s country home they belonged to.  They are charming, and just right for a salad or soup served in the garden for just the two of you.

The plates are white porcelain, with a decorative scalloped rim.  Marked on the back with a D, B, and the numbers 465- 1. At one time these had hand painted gilt rims, when they had their glory days of belonging to a grand set, but that has all but run away. Please only buy these beauties if you can love their faded grandeur.
