Exquisite Antique French Tole Jardiniere, or cachepot, {perhaps a very very small wastebasket?} oval shape, found in France. Beautifully decorative for your French Country home, pieces like this are getting rare to find. Stunning rose bouquet on the front, little forget-me-not flowers all over, the rim has a border touched with gilt. Inside is a forest green.
Perfectly imperfect with timeworn patina and wear, just what you would expect. The front has thick glazing. Colors are soft Merlot red, golden yellow, green, blue, and cream, the flowers are all French garden favorites. The jardiniere has rings on each side. Display your favorite plants in this charmer, rolled up towels in the guest bath, or any other number of things that you desire attractive storage for.
