Wonderful Antique French Country Hand Carved Wall Bracket Display Shelf, made in the second half of the 19th century. Exquisite hand carved details, the bracket has an ornate Rococo c-swirl on the bottom, and classical French scrolled details. The graceful scalloped shelf is dark brown, the rest of the bracket has aged gilt with touches of forest green.
The carving is exceptional, there is a small piece on the top that has run away after all this time, please see the photos. This antique bracket has a wonderful color and will be a fabulous accessory on any wall. A gorgeous addition to your French Country home, please only adopt if the missing piece doesn’t bother you.
