Beautiful Antique French Chateau Large Rose Bouquets Cutter Fabric, a great and rare to find design of stunning flowers on a darkened cream background. Found in a petit chateau on the border of France and Belgium, not in perfect condition but absolutely gorgeous, and I couldn’t find a name on the fabric, so it could be English, or from anywhere really, since fabric could be imported. It’s a curtain panel, but I’m calling it a cutter fabric because it does have a few age related things. The cotton printed fabric is a delightful weight, the gorgeous blooms include big pink and cream roses, morning glories and smaller garden favorites such as delphiniums.
This piece of drapery fabric was part of a bedroom and sitting room in its best days, I bought it for the sheer love of the aged flower bouquets, the colors are spectacular, soft cream, pink, blue, apricot, green, and mauves. I was thrilled to find this exceptional vintage fabric in such a classic floral period design. The fabric is in good condition for its age, this is amazing for pillows, bags, or any of your favorite sewing projects. This panel is in as found, not freshly laundered condition, it has aged to a darker color in places. There are small areas of loss, and some small marks, but generally it’s in fabulous condition! I measures smaller to account for several holes on the side where the lining was.
