Exquisite Antique Enameled Pink Roses Serving Bowl in the softest pastel colors we love, this is both hand painted and transfer. The background was hand painted in soft Green, Cream and Apricot, the {transfer} roses are light and dark Pink and White. White enamel was added by hand by an artist to enhance each rose flower’s natural beauty.
A collectible, elegant large bowl, dates to the turn of the last century, marked Made in Germany to fulfill the Merchandise Marks Act of 1887. There is some wear on the gilt trim, a small white spot on one flower, as often is the case for these 19th century bowls.
