Bought in France, made by Keller & Guerin, a French pottery factory that dates back to 1728 in Luneville, Lorraine, France. These plates were made between 1890-1905. A delightful opportunity to enrich your red transfer ware collection with this exquisite offering of plates.
The Belle Époque pattern is transfer printed in a deep red on a creamy white ironstone body. The 19th century dinner sized plates show a royal griffin at the top of an ornate wide border with French scrolls and twining leafy vines and berries. A fantastic find, each is in good antique condition. Marked by the factory on the back with their back stamp.
