Beautiful Antique 19th Century Staffordshire Mulberry Transferware Plate with Horse Riders. Rare to find, this purple transfer plate was made in Staffordshire, England in the late 1800’s. The equestrian central design features four riders in the country side, with one having an unfortunate fall.
The plate is surrounded by an ornate ribbon design with roses and smaller garden flowers. A fabulous gift for the horse lover in your life, or to add to your equestrian collection. The plate is in very good condition for its age, it’s a heavy ironstone. Unmarked, as many of the early pieces are.
