19th Century Aged Patina Ironstone Compote, a perfectly aged piece of ironstone for those of you who collect. This is one of those ‘well-buttered’ pieces my French dealer friends are always looking for and sell at a premium. This compote has it all, an elegant foot, fluted bowl, and lots of stories and history of over two centuries.
Made in the 1860’s in good condition, a most elegant piece with a gorgeous color only 200 years can achieve. Please only adopt this one if you are crazy about the patina and color – she’s a beauty! Marked on the bottom Etruria Works.
