Adorable Antique Children’s Cup, made by Brownhills Pottery Co, Staffordshire, England in 1880. Mugs like this were gifted to children on holidays and birthdays, and served as educational tools. This Nursery series is coveted by collectors and it’s easy to see why!
A rare coloration, such a treat. The chocolate brown image transfer is hand painted with rosey-red, cobalt blue, and yellow, for the charming cat. The alphabet is printed on the back, such a charming addition to your ABC and children’s dish collections. In very good condition for being over 140 years old. Applied handle is in wonderful condition.
