Rare Early English Georgian Sterling Spoon

Rare Early English Georgian Sterling Spoon, hand made and monogrammed with W S B. This is quite an early spoon, I adore everything about it. Marked with the lion passant for sterling, and the duty mark for King George III {1787-1821} and the silversmith Bayeux. This spoon was hand made, it shows its history, and has plenty of stories to tell!

A true work of art, filled with history, in the classic fiddle back tipt form design so popular in the late 1700's to the early 1800's. The hand hammered bowl has little areas of unevenness, this spoon is centuries old, after all. A gorgeous and rare to find gem for your silver collection. It would be so lovely to be used at your table to serve fruit, or your famous bread pudding.
